We’re continually astounded at the way that the NMD footwear line pushes the boundaries of what a sneaker can be. Case in point? The new NMD_R1 Shoes created by industry giant Adidas.
Pegged as “tech-inspired shoes with visual distortion” the NMD_R1 shoes are an adventure for every single one of your senses. The only thing that could possibly make them better is a fresh set of shoelaces from Lace Kings in the color or pattern of your choice.
Yeah that’s right! We truly believe that even a ground-breaking, iconic shoe like the NMD_R1 can be made just a little bit better by customizing it with shoelaces you love.
The NMD_R1 comes from the factory with flat shoe laces in a bright red color that matches the shoe’s stretchy red mesh upper. You could stick with that OR you could spice things up a bit by swapping in our premium woven polyester flat laces inblack orwhite. This will match perfectly with the allover “glitch” pattern on the NMD_R1’s mesh upper and supportive rubber outsole.
But if you really want to spice things up a little, we’d suggest looking beyond the flat, solid color shoelaces.
We’d love to see the NMD_R1 paired up with our premiumrope laces in a red and black pattern for a camouflage effect, or even our premiumrope laces in the white and black pattern for striking contrast.
No matter which shoelaces you choose from our vast collection, we know that your NMD_R1 shoes from Adidas are going to create some serious sneaker envy among your friends and coworkers.
The best way to determine your shoe laces size is to measure the length of the shoelaces you are replacing and most closely match it with our size options. **This will give you the most accurate fit**
If you are unable to measure the old shoe laces you want to replace, refer to the shoe lace size chart below. Keep in mind, these are suggestions and can be slightly affected by your lacing preferences, if you have a quite large or very small shoe size, and the distance between eyelets.
The correct Lace Kings shoe lace length is generally determined by how many pairs of eyelets (or holes) your shoes have.
*SHORTER: If your shoe eyelets are positioned very close together across the tongue, you may want to choose your length from the shorter side of the above chart. The smaller option can also be a good choice for petite women's sneakers or children's sizes. Also, if you prefer to leave your shoes untied, the shorter size may be preferable.
*LONGER: Choose the longer option for most men's shoe sizes or if you prefer to have enough length at the end to double knot.
*Note: Choose your size according to how many eyelets you plan on using on your shoe to get the best fit if you do not plan on lacing them all the way up to the top pair of eyelets.
